The war that is brewing between the US and Iran is a clear indication of the war of interests. The US, definitely, has a vested interest in waging a war against Iran. Part and parcel of US policy on matters concerning other nations is to gain dominance so it could sustain itself as a superpower. On the other hand, the Iranian people want to assert for their national sovereignty against attempts of the US to control the land. The Iran War, should it finally erupt will only lead to the suffering of many people. Clearly, War With Iran will only result to a greater hatred towards the US if it takes place. If the US is really committed to progress, they it should keep its hands off Iran. It can only ensure progress if the US would allow room for respect for sovereignty and nationalism.
