When I got laid off from my job as a computer engineer, I felt at the time that it was both a curse and a blessing. Honestly, more of a curse. It all happened when I had too many bills to pay, my husband got sick, my mom divorced my dad. Get the picture? It was hell. However, I said to myself that I’ve got to stride on. I told myself I won’t let this get the better of me. I sent out my application to different companies and got a call within a week. While that sounded good news to me, the trouble wasn’t over since I had a lot of stuff to pay. So I explored getting Personal Loans which I was able to pay back within a year, thanks to my new job, which by the way was better than my previous one. I also got a Payday Loan to fill in that lack in terms of budget for daily necessities. I was able to pay back that one too. In retrospect, getting laid off was a blessing in disguise. Only after I have survived that can I say that I grew as a person. Getting a personal loan and a payday loan, of course, helped me a lot through the process of recovery.
